Linux on Mobile
I replaced the default Android OS with a custom ported Linux distribution on a mobile phone, creating a compact embedded development and debugging platform. This setup enables direct hardware access, custom kernel modules, and a flexible environment for experimenting with embedded systems, IoT, and performance testing — all within a compact mobile form factor.
Li-Ion BMS with AFE
Built a compact battery-management system by pairing 18650 Li-ion cells with TI’s bq76930 analog-front-end(AFE). The bq76930 monitors and protects multi-cell packs, provides per-cell ADC measurements, cell balancing and FET control, and reports pack status to a host MCU — turning a simple 18650 stack into a safe, and debug-friendly power platform for embedded development.
Home Automation PoC
This proof-of-concept demonstrates a compact home automation node powered by a Wi-Fi-enabled microcontroller, communicating over MQTT to a central broker. It features a small display for live status updates (Voltage, power consumption, backup battery and network info) and runs on a rechargeable backup battery, making it ideal for portable IoT deployment case study.
BACnet Node PoC
In this project, I implemented a BACnet (Building Automation and Control Network) system using an open-source stack, integrated with custom SMPS modules and both analog and digital I/O nodes. The setup enables reliable field-level communication for HVAC, lighting, and environmental monitoring, offering a flexible, modular, and scalable platform for building automation and control experiments.
Electronics Hobbyist
I’m an electronics hobbyist with a strong focus on embedded systems development — starting from entry-level proof-of-concept schematics and PCB design, through firmware programming, and extending to cloud integration and system-level applications. I enjoy exploring the complete development cycle, from hardware to software, often using Python for automation, data handling, and connectivity with embedded devices.
DVS INNO HUB
This home lab features an OpenWRT router with firewall, VPN, and DNS-over-TLS for secure network traffic. A mini PC server hosts NAS, photo backup, n8n, and Single Sign On(SSO) for the services, all on a static IP with a custom domain. An NVIDIA Jetson Orin Nano handles AI inference and automation, enabling on-premise machine learning experiments. Together, it forms a compact, secure ecosystem for networking, automation, and edge AI development.
